Winter Blues North Farmers Market
March 24, 2016
4:00PM – 7:00PM
Ruby Community Center, Mylan Park
The WVU Extension Service West Virginia Small Farm Center and Morgantown Farmers’ Market Growers Association are excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Winter Blues North Farmers Market!
This premier event gives all of us the opportunity to showcase the bounty of West Virginia and demonstrate the variety of products available in winter months. We are proud of this event and want to economically demonstrate that .
The market is a producer-only market and does not permit reselling of items. The 2015 market featured a host of produce, meat, woolen, wood, and other farm-raised items, and was an excellent income-generation opportunity for participating farmers.
This year the market expects to attract even more vendors and customers. The event will feature local musicians and restauranteurs as well with food available for purchase.
This event is open to the public. The entry donation is just $2, with proceeds benefiting a local Morgantown charity, Empty Bowls Monongalia.

Local Food Dine Around
Part two of this event includes a Winter Blues Local Food Dine-Around featuring Morgantown chefs cooking up pay-as-you-go, locally grown and prepared entrees. The chefs will be set up among the many farmer vendors so the customers can eat and shop, or find one of the many tables nearby to just relax while eating a wonderful locally prepared meal.
